I’m Layne Njaa, a licensed professional counselor with Blue Opal Counseling. I am dedicated to supporting individuals aged 16 and up with a specialized focus on the LGBTQ community and men’s issues. In session, I offer clients a compassionate and supportive space while challenging them to confront and grow beyond their barriers. I support clients in addressing and navigating homophobia, providing a safe space for them to heal and develop resilience while fostering self-acceptance and empowerment. I also help male clients unpack the societal expectations of masculinity, supporting them in finding what is congruent for them and what is not. As a therapist, I find great fulfillment in working with clients from diverse backgrounds and beliefs, as this diversity enriches the therapeutic process and deepens my understanding of the human experience.
