Hello, and welcome – I’m Heather Ravenell, a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor dedicated to helping adults, elders, and teens navigate life’s challenges with compassion, authenticity, and hope.
My work centers on supporting clients through anxiety, trauma, depression, grief, and self-esteem struggles, as well as major life transitions. I believe therapy is a collaborative process that honors your lived experience and focuses on your strengths. Using a person-centered and trauma-informed approach, I provide a safe, affirming space where you can explore your emotions, discover new perspectives, and begin to heal at your own pace.
As a queer-affirming therapist, I welcome individuals of all identities and backgrounds. I’m also certified in psychotherapy for the aging population, with specialized experience addressing the unique emotional and relational needs that arise in later life. Whether you’re coping with change, loss, or simply seeking to feel more grounded, I aim to meet you with empathy, curiosity, and respect for your journey.
Together, we’ll work to replace self-criticism with self-compassion, strengthen your sense of self, and help you move toward greater peace and fulfillment.
